A lovely William IV davenport. We date this davenport to the early 19th century.
The davenport sits on four turned feet with castors.The davenport is fitted with a writing slope with a good quality leather writing surface. The interior has an open storage space with two small drawers to the inside rear. Below the small drawers there is a dummy drawer with one handle, the handle pulls out to unlock a rotating hinged pen drawer at the right hand side rear. There are four drawers on the right hand side and four dummy drawers on the left hand side with pull out slides at each side above the drawers.
The top section slides forward to give extra kneehole legroom and there is a lovely turned back and side gallery to the top surface.
The writing slope and drawers are fitted with locks (key is supplied).
The davenport has an overall height of 35.5" (90cm), a width of 19.5" (50cm) and a depth of 25" (64cm).
This lovely antique davenport remains in a good solid condition with surface markings commensurate with age and usage. The top surface has some minor marks and there is some wear to the feet.
This remains a very stylish and elegant davenport. It will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.

A lovely mahogany bureau. We date this bureau to the mid 19th century.
The bureau comes in one main section and sits on its steady bracket feet.
The fold-down top rests on two pull-out supports and is fitted with a lock (key supplied). It opens to reveal the fitted interior, which consists of various pigeon holes and drawers. There is also a small cupboard with a lock which contains the hidden compartment to the interior.
The lower section contains four full width drawers with brass handles and locks.
The bureau has a height of 44" (104cm), a width of 40" (102cm) and a depth of 20.5" (52cm). The depth on the top is 9.5” (24cm) and the total depth when opened is 34’’ (86cm).
This lovely bureau remains in very good solid condition with only minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There is some minor wear and indents to some edges, primarily to the base, and a small indentation at the keyhole of the small internal cupboard. There are some marks inside the bureau from past use.
This remains a simple yet stylish and elegant bureau. It will continue to provide good service for many years to come.

A lovely inlaid mahogany writing table. We date this table to the early 19th century.
The table sits on four downward slender tapered legs with inlaid contouring and brass casters. There is a stretcher at the rear legs.
The table top has a decorative mahogany veneered surface with an inlaid edge along three sides. It has a rise and fall screen at the rear of the table with floral decorated fabric.
The table has a height of 31.5" (80cm), a width of 21.5" (54cm) and a depth of 19.5" (49cm). With the screen opened the total height is 49.5” (126cm) and the depth is 18” (46cm).
The kneehole has a height of 25.5” (65cm).
This lovely writing table remains in a good solid condition with minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage, including a few light indentations to some of the corners and around the edges. There are some minor marks around the feet from past use. The table is missing an amount of edge inlay as can be seen in the pictures.
The rise and fall screen has some tears in the fabric and shows scratches from being pulled up and down. The internal writing slope of the drawer and the key are missing.
This remains a very stylish and elegant antique table. It will continue to provide good service for many years to come.

There are some minor marks around the feet from past use. The table is missing an amount of edge inlay as can be seen in the pictures.

A lovely Victorian oak desk. We date this desk to the late 19th century.
The desk was previously owned by Andy Stewart MBE. Andy was a well known Scottish singer and entertainer.
The pedestals sit on plain plinth bases. The desk comes as a single section.
The desk top has three drawers and each pedestal has a further three drawers. The drawers have brass drop handles with a decorative back plates.
The central kneehole drawer is fitted with an internal writing slope.
The top surface is fitted with a leather look vinyl material.
The desk has a height of 30.5" (78cm), a width of 51" (130cm) and a depth of 26" (66cm).
This lovely Victorian oak desk remains in very good solid condition with minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. The top surface has some scratches, indents and a fair amount of wear to the finish. The desk top has some very minor age splits. The vinyl insert has indents with heavy wear aroud the edges. Given the history of the desk we have left it in its original condition.
